STONEHAM, Mass. — Joan H. Kochocki Martinez, 56, Stoneham, Mass., died Nov. 1, 2009, at Kindred Hospital, Peabody, Mass.

Mrs. Martinez worked for Delta Airlines as a reservations agent for many years.

She was born Oct. 25, 1953, in Jamaica Plain, Mass., the daughter of Stanley J. and Helen Kochocki. Her mother survives in Saugus, Mass.

She was a graduate of St. Rose High School and received her bachelor’s degree from Salem State College.

She was married to Mario Martinez for 33 years. He survives her.

Mrs. Martinez enjoyed cooking.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Anne Marie Martinez and Dimar, Costa Rica, Lisa Martinez and James of Wakefield, Mass., and Julianna Martinez, Stoneham; siblings, Janice Utter and husband, John, Noblesville, Joyce Brown, Saugus, and Joseph Kochocki, Lynnfield, Mass.; grandson, Jarred Munoz, Costa Rica; nieces and nephews, Jim Utter, Chicago, Joanie Utter Richardson, Cicero, and Julie Utter Pittman and husband, Craig, Noblesville.

Services were held Nov. 5, at Robinson Funeral Home in Melrose, Mass. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett, Mass.
