Zionsville gallery walk to be year-round
The Zionsville art galleries, artists’ studios and art venues will be open late for the First Fridays gallery walks year-round.
The first one will be this Friday.
“Before we only had it open May through October, during the nice climate months,” said Lolly Schoonover, of Kellar Mahaney Gallery. “Starting this month, it will be open late all year round.”
The hours will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. — later at some locations.
Meet-the-artists events, music and refreshments will be at the galleries along Main Street and the side streets of Cedar, Pine and Hawthorne.
Kellar Mahaney, 270 S. Main St., will have a meet-the-artist event Friday with fine artist Anne Tirey, who has a Fort Wayne studio.
Other upcoming First Fridays dates include Dec. 4 and Jan. 8. The January event was rescheduled due to New Year’s Day falling on a Friday.
First Fridays events are free with free parking available.
