The Marion County Health Department has scheduled two H1N1 vaccine clinics this week.

They will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at Lafayette Square Mall, 3919 Lafayette Road.

The clinics are for those in the at-risk group and includes:

>>Women who are pregnant.

>>People who live with or provide care for infants younger than 6 months (parents, siblings and day care providers).

>>Health care and emergency medical services personnel with direct patient contact.

>>People age 6 months to 24 years.

>>People from age 25 to 64 years with medical conditions that put them at higher risk for influenza-related complications.

No identification or proof of eligibility are required.

At the clinic, people will be given a ticket indicating they will receive an H1N1 vaccine. Long lines are expected and people are encouraged to dress for the weather conditions.

Local health officials ask people coming to the clinic to wear a short-sleeved shirt so that nurses have easy acess to the upper arm, where vaccinations are given.
