NOBLESVILLE — A developer will begin installing a traffic light on 146th Street west of Ind. 37 on Monday, according to a press release.

Indianapolis-based Mann Properties will pay for the light at the entrance to its 8.5-acre Noble Crossing development at the southwest corner of Ind. 37 and 146th Street. The development includes a Crystal Flash gas station.

The stoplight will be added at Herriman Boulevard, which will be realigned with a private drive to Metro Plastics Technologies on the south side of 146th. The work should be done by year’s end, according to the press release.

Hamilton County Highway Department officials have said the light will be timed with a nearby light at Ind. 37 to allow traffic on 146th to flow smoothly.
